The Emergency Response Centre

Part of the ERC. Each day the Centre receives 100's of
calls and over 90% are answered within 30 seconds.

When a Mindme alarm is activated it send a message to the Emergency Response Centre (ERC) telling it who you are and where you are. The information appears on an Operators’ screen and your location will be accurate to within a few metres.

Mindme then makes a voice call to the ERC which will be answered by a member of the Response Team. They will talk to you, assess your problem and then the Team will arrange appropriate assistance. That may be asking one of your contacts to go to you or, if appropriate, an emergency service will be summoned. If necessary the Operator will stay in contact with you until help arrives. If, for any reason you can’t or don’t talk to the Operator then an emergency service will be sent to you automatically.

Mindme's Emergency Response Centre is operated by Chichester Careline which was established in 1985 and has over 20,000 customers. Its team is highly trained and experienced and looks after people from all walks of life; from older or disabled people with their special needs to lone workers, or people who are subject to domestic violence who may live in fear of their lives.
