Lone workers

Quick Links

Not all lone workers need a personal alarm but there is no doubt that some do. Generally those that do are either people whose job brings them into direct contact with the public and are at risk of being verbally abused or physically assaulted or there could be a risk of them having an accident.

Do you know that sometimes when we suggest to an organisation that some of their staff should have a personal alarm we’re told they don’t need one because they’ve got a mobile phone?

Imagine the scenario; you’re facing a member of the public who is pent up with frustration, who’s throwing verbal abuse at you, who may at any moment physically lash out at you. Trying to make a mobile phone call would be very difficult but with a Mindme alarm you simply activate it and not only would the Response Team be able to hear what was happening but it would also know who you are and where you are.

The Mindme system is sophisticated: it allows employers to change users at any time; it allows users to change their details at any time; it even allows employees to share a device.
