Do you remember when you were young your Mum or Dad telling you to take care when you went out with your friends on a Friday or Saturday night? You probably told them where you were going (well not exactly but near enough) and not to fuss, etc.
Now the tables are turned! You worry about your Mum (or Dad) who lives alone but leads an active life. Maybe you’re thinking: what would happen if, say, Mum were out for a walk and suddenly felt unwell? Worse than that – what would happen if Mum were out for a walk, had a fall and hurt herself? How would she get help? If she were walking through countryside how would anyone find her?
The obvious solution is to give Mum a Mindme personal alarm so that she can call for help at any time, anywhere. But, do you know what; she’s going to tell you to stop fussing and she doesn’t want one!
“If I had one it would make me feel old”. (That comment was made by a man who was 84 years old!)
“What a waste of money!”
“You can give me one but I’ll never use it”
Do you remember when you were young your Mum telling you to take a coat when you went out? Do you remember taking one and quietly thanking Mum for reminding you as it began to rain?
