Older or disabled people

Mindme is a personal alarm service for older or disabled people which, should they have a crisis, lets them call for help whether they are in their home or out and about, in the shops, travelling to meet friends or going for a walk.

The Mindme Now personal alarm

When Mindme is activated it sends its location to the Emergency Response Centre (ERC). If the user is out and about then the location will be accurate to within a few metres because the alarm has satellite technology (GPS). If the user is at home the ERC will know that too.

Immediately the location information has been sent Mindme makes a voice call to the ERC and the Controller will talk to the user. If, for any reason, the user cannot speak then the Controller will automatically send help.

The Emergency Response Centre

The ERC has been looking after older and/or disabled people for over 22 years and its operators are highly efficient and understanding. An operator will asses the problem and, depending on what it is, will either ask one of the user's contacts to attend or, if required, an emergency service will be summoned. The ERC operates 24/7 and is always there when help is needed.
